I am inspired by my surroundings, with a solitary tendency to sit under trees and find some "me time" when possible. If not through my family which has ignited my writing, my photography, and my future endeavors, it is through friendship, love, and my undying faith that I have evolved into the person I am today.

Being a true blooded Cuban, my concerns for Freedom are now more powerful than ever as I've studied my culture more in depth through classroom context and art. It truly breaks my heart when the issue of communism crashes upon my grandparents like a tropical storm, families and friends, experiences, childhood songs, now just a faint excerpt for everything by the power of man, has turned to dust, unimaginable for future generations in Cuba.

Funny this is the next topic,as the label, "leader" has been replaced by the word "dictator" or "monster" for the Cuban population. Honestly, a good leader should be motivational, not forceful. Being a leader of something too large for one alone gives true reason for group participation and community involvement. Purposely we've all been made differently, so that our individual emotions, our ideals, our morality, our reason can personally impact some-thing,being,place in one way or another therefore, if a leader allows the people he's governing to publicize their voice, change is bound to erupt.

I know TIG will open up so many opportunities to connect with people of all ages and backgrounds that want to impact the WORLD. Doing my slight part as an Online Volunteer will help me connect with everyone, English speakers alongside Spanish Speakers and possibly pick up some Italian along the way. Ultimately, TakingITGlobal is the fuel to greater understanding and exists to further inspire me to get out there and cause a RIOT :)
