THIS ONE IS SHORT POEM. I WROTE IT WHEN I WAS 16YRS OLD. ANYONE OF US CAN RELATE TO IT NOW. I WROTE THIS AFTER SEEING A NAKED OLD MAN WALKING ON A BUSY STREET OBLIVION TO THE HIS ABNORMALCY, TO HIS HUNGER..COMING TO THINK OF IT, THIS POEM SUITS MAN HIMSELF IN GENERAL!
:
Mad man-lost his senses
succumbed to poison
fed by life.
Forlorn, torn.
Deceiving ties could do so much.
Braving the night,
walking down the road,
Trying to make sense
to the disillusioned space,
Headlights turn away from him
Sane contradicting forms move by
He-not even worth a glance
Still myriad creatures thrive
in the same place.
What more can i say-
The world is definitely stuck.
Do flowers look beautiful in the dark?
I try to believe they will.
