Human Rights , Peace & Conflict   Poetry

I want a world where the voices of the poor won't haunt me anymore
Where the people around me are no longer suffering
Where war is something left to be taught in the history books
Where genocide has never been heard of
Where fantasy meets reality
And fact becomes fiction
This world may never exist
And to my dismay I cannot live with that
This world is full of beautiful things and beautiful people
If we only know where to look
Can we truly see it

I'm Alex. I've always been a writer. I like my writing to be influential. Usually, I turn most of my poems into songs. I've never really shared any of my work. I think that's because it's so important me and it's all I have.
