Peace & Conflict   Poetry

I won't see what you want me to see.
Heroic Soldiers, Nation of Infidels.
No I don't see these,
I see you.
Soldiers are your fingers
with faces,
every one.
The enemy
is what they became
when you declared them so...
A War on Terrorism
is a Hollywood Film
that never
seems
to end.
You're shooting yourself
in the foot
by not telling,
If you did what you said
you'd shoot yourself in the
face
But your cape
is more crucial
than surrender.
We will not see what you want us to see.
"Listen to me Children,"
"Because I SAID so!"
Your distractions cannot hide their cries.
I will not see what you want me to see.
In the way of truth,
I see you.

This is not only a good poem but it is also a good message to the world. The soldiers are fighting to stop the fighting which I think is completely useless and they are call heroic for doing that, I do not think they should be call heroic since the word hero are used for people who stops wars and not help continue it. I also do not see them as heroic hero either, they are tools for continueing wars and for that they are not heros at all. But I think that this Hollywood Film that never seems to end will end one day if all these heros just stop being heros and instead help stop these useless wars.

This poem is very interesting. It tells us war is bad fighting is very bad. This poem has a lot of meaning and I really understand it. It's taking about how the soldiers are protecting the country and that we should have hope. This also tells that war is a harmful thing and we shouldn't fight or start a war of your own. This poem is also very wrong because people start fighting and wars and it is almost a normal thing now. They should know the fighting is wrong and bad but they still fight. No one can stop wars and fighting because it's a normal thing and you just have to live with it.
