Mistakes of love Printable Version PRINTABLE VERSION
by Timothy G. Branfalt Sr., Costa Rica Feb 18, 2009
Peace & Conflict , Culture   Poetry

Don't dwell on the moments of mistakes- except to learn.
Don't try and undo the bad breaks, no more your concern.
Make up each day with the minutes you have, and give your time to those who have not.
Look around and take a look at what you got.

There is a spot in your mind, in your soul, in your heart.
Each beat could be a moment to get a new start.
'Cause when it is all over, it can once more begin.
But will man ever acknowledge his deep shame of sin?
For now we must give as much as is within-
and befriend all in love, before our end.

They say the "bright side" is better, but from whose point of view?
I wish all could think, as I'm thinking of you.
My body's been weathered by our perilous dust.
Pure "Love" has been shattered by animal lust.
I think that I'll stay with all the Love I endure-
And I hope all those with me will find this Love a cure.

Softly, each breath and each word should be spoken
To find all the ones to be left here unbroken.
To pull from each other, all the Love that we share-
But I know one sure thing, that my heart is there.

We are all within each other. When that is realized, our prejudice and communication interference will be that of telepathic communication. We will be one with each other and one with the world. These bodies are only temporary forms that keep us restricted from our own heavenly place.
It is only a temporary restriction, especially upon those who intend to use their "physical attributes" with just the selfish, social advancement of themselves.
If this world had started to gain acceptance and understanding of all problematic errors within, we may have been able to share these "advancements" with our brothers and sisters, who are NOW--not later--in danger, not from the immediate natural disasters, but of those that will not surrender the help they need to overcome their immediate handicaps.
The ones of unshared power with food, shelter, clothing, and then to add the militia.
The militia could have been justified, if its intentions were there for the less fortunate, not to take more from the unfortunate.
I live on my lifelong work of gathering a pension, which is paid back to me only due to many years of work. Others work hard, and see nothing. All I have to Always say is "Me casa, es Su casa!", Mucho Amore e "Pura Vida!"

Beautiful discussion... well kneated! ...But can you explain better what you meant saying, "To pull from each other, all the Love that we share- But I know one sure thing, that my heart is there." Thank you!

We ALL have Love within us, but to pull it from those who are full of vengeance is a job in itself. A good example is the fact that I and many other "Expats" from North Amerca were frowned upon by one individual here who is my closest neighbor. No matter what he said to me, it was always in disgust because I could not communicate well with him. He even was swatting the ground with a Machete {Cachura} at a very close frind of mine. I split them apart. Explained as well as I could, that I could NOT take side. Told him in Espanol "We are all brothers, we are all friends, you must remove the hate you are showing now, and slowly we will communicate as We learn more Espanol" I made him stop from walking away, "Amore, est me vencino!" I wouldn't let him walk away with a handshake with my friend. That handshake meant alot to me! Since that time, I have seen even more happiness than I had when I had first gotten here. I will step in between any weapon, and have many times, and made them think, untill they get to the deep inside of themselve and pull that Love out. Pura Vida me Amigo! Tim
