Roses are red
Pigs used to be pink
Why are we covered in red?

I see him with a knife
I’m running for my life
He has a kid and a wife
How can he be so cruel

I don’t want to die
Why so much madness in his eye
I’m only a pig
I’m loved because I’m big

I imagine him as a beast
Loving me so I can be a delicious feast
They treat me like I don’t have feelings
He already killed all my siblings

Some people seem to care
About my way of living
But all they really care for
Are the images they give to others

I live in a world of hypocrisy
That’s the way things are meant to be
Only the strongest deserve to live
Here there is no place for the weak

Why can’t I keep my dignity
Why do they look at me like
I’m some kind of machine

We never know what’s going to happen
We live in fear of not knowing

Imagine being born as me
I want to be free
