Peace & Conflict   Poetry

The scintillant laughters of my loved ones,
the radiant smiles of the innocent souls
All slaughtered to fulfill evil goals,
all massacred by bombs and guns

So much of this war and terror,
enough of this blood and gore
Is this what He created us for?
Is this why we came here for?

Dejected and forlorn, I leave this world,
where bullets command and injustice rule
I leave to applaud the struggling right,
I die only, for the love of life!

I write not because I can. I write because I have to. Good or bad, I have to keep the stream flowing. Words express a human's disposition, so better out than in!

Did you ever consider social theatre?
Alina Marchis | Aug 1st, 2005
Social theatre can have a huge impact on the consciousness of people. Your poetry has a high-impact message and the form could be easily imported to social theatre! if you can dream it you cand do it!

These kind of lyrics put a lasting impression on the soul. I called my family to read your poem also. It caused a deep response. You must follow your heart's passion to write.
