Peace & Conflict   Poetry

Outside the window, saw I a dove
Which brough to me eternal love.

Intolerable! I jump to fly
Reaching for the infinite sky.

Gazing down upon the sea shore
I had my treasure and needed no more.

Swiftly turning to join heaven
thought I, was my being forsaken?

Indeed, there was no lasting flame
for it had vanished in shame.

But yet I doubted that amelioration
that persuaded my animation

Was it materialism, and no truth?
that droove me into refute?

Or was it that glorious everlasting light
whose sight made my eyes to fight?

A shiver across my soul declared it free
and the gods above winked back at me.

Yes! I had won over that illusion
and knew that it was no more that fusion.

Self realised now I become
no need to comprehend ! I have my freedom!

Come along and you must achieve it though this air
for there are too many obstacles and little time to spare!
